It is with a heavy heart that we announce the Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce is closing, effective immediately. This was not an easy decision, and it comes after much reflection. Ultimately, it was a financially necessary step. For more than 70 years, the Chamber has been proud to serve the City of Lakewood and its business community. We are deeply grateful to the many businesses, partners, and community members who supported the Chamber over the decades. Thank you for the events, mixers, collaborations, shared successes, and lasting friendships. It has truly been an honor to support such a vibrant and dedicated business community. As a result of this closure, the Lakewood Community News will also cease publication. For city-related news, updates, or announcements, residents and businesses are encouraged to follow the City of Lakewood’s official communications, including their Lakewood Connect E-Magazine  and social media channels. While this chapter is coming to a close, our belief in the strength and future of Lakewood’s business community remains unwavering. To future business owners and entrepreneurs in the City of Lakewood, please know that the City of Lakewood’s dedicated staff will continue to serve both residents and the business community’s needs.  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. Lakewood will always hold a special place with us.
